Business Travel World Awards, which will
be held at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London. The Apartment Service is
nominated in the category "Business Accommodation". The winner
will be decided not by voting, but on the basis of a presentation given to
a panel of industry experts. We have given the presentation of a lifetime, so
let´s wait and see if the judges agree!

Our new website
The 19th of September we introduced
our fantastic new look website, which when fully operational,
will have exciting XML features, enhanced search
facility and online booking. For those of you who are
experiencing some problems at the moment on our website, please bear with
us, the functionality of the site improves daily and new features are
added constantly.
To our property managers: During the redevelopment of our
website, your new details may take upto three days to appear
back online. Our reservation
staff will be able to offer and book your properties in the meantime as
usual. We apologise for the inconvenience and hope to return to our normal

CAS Now Covers 20 Countries In Europe
Complete
Accommodation Solutions (CAS), the bespoke corporate housing provider, has
expanded to now cover 20 countries in Europe. New destinations added to the
network include Turkey, Czech Republic and Slovakia. The response to the
launches in the UK and USA in September was impressive and interest in CAS
continues to grow. As the number of international short term assignments
increases, the demand for good value serviced accommodation as an
alternative to traditional hotels is increasing too. CAS provides solutions
where serviced properties are in short supply, where available properties
do not meet assignees demands or where organisations are seeking a more
streamlined and cost effective alternative to their temporary accommodation
needs.
“Location and price are the major factors”, says CAS Co-ordinator Susan
Wood, “and the CAS service will meet these by using residential
accommodation and provide it with service and management. There is an
increasing demand for staff mobility worldwide and the need for this unique
service is there. CAS will provide a central point of contact for bookers
from both Human Resources and Business Travel departments as well as
Project Managers.
We will provide Management Information about all assignees in one
consolidated report. We are working with our chosen Supplier Partners – all
local experts who have a long standing experience of the destinations – who
speak the language, know their areas intimately and are typically already
in the relocation business. We have developed a Service Level Programme
with all of them to ensure consistency of service for the client across all
Europe.
CAS is a natural development of The Apartment Service´s Roomspace Solutions
service, which has been operated to date only in the UK.

INDUSTRY NEWS FROM ACROSS THE GLOBE
* Bridgestreet is moving into Doha
(Qatar). They have signed a franchise agreement with Tadmur Real Estate to
manage 4 properties with a total of 514 units under the Bridgestreet brand.
* Frasers Hospitality has signed contracts
to manage its first three properties in India. All three properties are
located in Bangalore, the country´s IT hub and will open from June next
year.
